e-Mobility and Electric Vehicles
More and more people are receptive to the idea of personal micro-mobility devices for short to medium-length trips. In 2020, over 4% of all new vehicle sales globally are electric vehicles, and in some countries – like Norway – more than 50% of all new vehicles sold are now electric.
It is important that the uptake of E-Mobility is not just limited to cities, and that regional and remote communities have the opportunity to experience the benefits of this technology revolution.
E-Mobility can deliver around a 30% reduction in emissions and the reduction in emissions is even greater when sourced from renewable energy.
Our microgrid projects are investigating and planning for e-Mobility + Transport Resilience and will deliver currently not available data on transport use; future transport demand expectations including for business and government; analysis of renewable energy supply options i.e. technology mix, funding, staff.
